It’s that time of year again! Join me once again for Open Studios!

This fun event is organized by Metropolitan Arts Council, and you can find out all about it here!

My studio in The Collective, located at 111 Henry Street (follow the signs!) will be open for the optional day, Friday November 14th from 6 to 11 PM, as well as the Open Studios weekend: Saturday November 15th from 10 to 6, and Sunday November 16th from 12 to 6. Wood sculptor Matt McClain and fine artist Jerry Wubben are also taking part in Open Studios at The Collective.

Be sure to join us Friday night for a special tradition we’ve started at The Collective: a Dance Party with DJ Dirty! This year we have a theme: Space Invasion, and costumes are encouraged! The purpose of Greenville Open Studios is to give the public a chance to see how and where artists create their work! It is a self-guided tour to as many of the 164 artists as you care to see!

There is an online app at the link above where you can see all artists’ work and short video. I will have a limitied number of paper catalogs at my studio. You can also pick them up at the Metropolitan Arts Council office and gallery located at 16 Augusta Street in downtown Greenville. They will also have the Square Foot exhibit up from November 6th through December 13th. Each participating artist will have a piece on display no larger than 12x12 inches. It’s a great place to start if you’re having trouble deciding or you want to discover some new Greenville artists!
